2022 saw some major changes for federal employees.

- Returning to work in-office has been a major challenge for federal employees, as many prefer a hybrid work schedule, Jason Miller, executive editor of Federal News Network said.
- Thrift Savings Plan faced challenges while going through a modernization process, Miller explained.
