The Office of Personnel Management has published a new playbook and comprehensive tool set to all agency heads and directors. The Executive Playbook for Workforce Reshaping: Accelerating the Gears of Transformation lays out 4 plays for human capital leaders and employees at agencies.  Mika Cross, vice president of employer engagement and strategic initiative at FlexJobs, says that the playbook focuses on adapting skill level to current industry needs.

 

“The landscape is different even from yesterday – we are in the middle of the fourth industrial revolution. We are adopting technology. Change is coming and it’s here to say”, Cross explains. “When you are talking re-skilling and up-skilling, it is equipping you with the right tools and mindset to set you up for a lifetime of learning and agility. [The playbook] gives you the skills you need to go wherever you want to go in the government or the private sector down the line.”
