OMB satisfied with cybersecurity EO compliance
President Trump’s cybersecurity executive order called for agency heads to create a risk management report within 90 days — using the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s cybersecurity framework as a guide — and deliver it to the secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and the director of the Office of Management and Budget.
The order was delivered on May 11th, making August 9th that 90-day deadline.
According to an OMB spokesman, “the response has been robust and we are satisfied with compliance.”
