The latest FITARA scorecard will be released sometime this month. The Government Accountability Office makes periodic changes to the way FITARA is scored. Richard Spires, CEO of Learning Tree International, says some changes are in order to the scorecard.
“If you are running an IT organization like I have, you have customers. You have employees of the agency, you might have citizens. Customer satisfaction, right? There’s not a basic measure of customer satisfaction on that scorecard. To hold ourselves accountable as CIOs, there should be. OMB could issue a standard customer satisfaction survey that should be used across the agencies. One to get our arms around and that will foster new behavior.
