Carey Webster, director of Federal Information Services at Deltek, discusses the effect that the appropriations spending rush will have on small businesses, and how it could affect their bottom line.

The appropriations spending bonanza expected before the September 30th start of the 2019 fiscal year might sound like a boon to government contractors, but small businesses worry that they might be left out in the rush to spend. “If we look across the government fiscal year, in Q4 is where we see… 40 percent of all spending to small businesses.
