As the threat landscape evolves and adversaries pursue more advanced weapons and technology, the U.S. must modernize its arsenal to stay ahead of the enemy. Sustainment costs are rising, budgets are flattening and workforces are in transition. Acquisition must accelerate to enable innovation and reduce cost.
