USMC pushes to meet daily mission amidst photo-sharing scandal
The Marine Corps is facing one of the greatest personnel challenges of its existence.
Battered by a nude photo-sharing scandal, they have issued a longer and more detailed social media policy that lays out the professional and legal ramifications for service members culpable of online misconduct. It will include a requirement that all Marines sign a statement acknowledging they have read and understand the new guidelines.
Meanwhile, the Corps still has to meet its daily mission.
Government Matters host Francis Rose discussed Marine readiness with Commandant Gen. Robert Neller on the sidelines of last week’s McAleese Defense Programs Conference in Washington.
